2018世界機(jī)器人大會(huì)先進(jìn)機(jī)器人與自動(dòng)化專題論壇（WRC SARA 2018），將于2018年8月15至19日世界機(jī)器人大會(huì)期間舉辦。2015年，世界機(jī)器人大會(huì)首次在北京召開(kāi)。三年來(lái)，大會(huì)已逐步發(fā)展成為機(jī)器人和人工智能領(lǐng)域規(guī)模最大、規(guī)格最高的學(xué)術(shù)和產(chǎn)業(yè)盛會(huì)。大會(huì)每年吸引了來(lái)自全球頂尖高校、研究機(jī)構(gòu)和機(jī)器人企業(yè)的300余位國(guó)際一流學(xué)者、專家與企業(yè)家，共話機(jī)器人技術(shù)與產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展。過(guò)去幾年，大會(huì)每年展出超過(guò)150家國(guó)際機(jī)器人企業(yè)帶來(lái)的近千種創(chuàng)新展品，與會(huì)者超過(guò)200,000人次。

    今年，2018世界機(jī)器人大會(huì)期間將舉辦一場(chǎng)關(guān)于機(jī)器人與自動(dòng)化領(lǐng)域先進(jìn)研究成果的論壇，并在全球范圍內(nèi)向相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的各專業(yè)人士征集論文。我們將與IEEE機(jī)器人與自動(dòng)化學(xué)會(huì)（IEEE RAS）共同評(píng)審所提交的技術(shù)論文。提交送審的論文都應(yīng)嚴(yán)格遵循IEEE會(huì)議論文格式。所有獲選并經(jīng)過(guò)注冊(cè)的論文均將被錄入IEEE Xplore數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)，并收錄于EI檢索。

    2018 世界機(jī)器人大會(huì)由論壇、博覽會(huì)、大賽、開(kāi)幕式、閉幕式組成。大會(huì)將邀請(qǐng)世界機(jī)器人領(lǐng)域著名專家學(xué)者進(jìn)行高水平的學(xué)術(shù)交流，邀請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外機(jī)器人企業(yè)、高校及科研機(jī)構(gòu)集中展示最新科研成果、應(yīng)用產(chǎn)品，并舉辦一系列精彩紛呈的機(jī)器人大賽活動(dòng)。大會(huì)旨在豐富拓展機(jī)器人、自動(dòng)化以及人工智能領(lǐng)域研究者和從業(yè)者的知識(shí)與經(jīng)驗(yàn)，通過(guò)展示創(chuàng)新技術(shù)、培育創(chuàng)新人才來(lái)推動(dòng)機(jī)器人技術(shù)與產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展，使其成為國(guó)際社會(huì)真正的創(chuàng)業(yè)、創(chuàng)新驅(qū)動(dòng)力。

WRC Symposium on Advanced Robotics and Automation

Call for Papers

The WRC Symposium on Advanced Robotics and Automation (WRC SARA 2018) will be held as a special technical meeting during the World Robot Conference (WRC), Beijing, China, August 15 to August 19, 2018.  Organized by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and Beijing Municipal People’s Government, the first WRC was held in 2015, and has since then continued to grow into the world’s largest-scale and top-level conference for academics and industrialists in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence fields.  Each prior WRC attracted over 300 international speakers who are leading academics, industry experts, entrepreneurs from the world’s top universities, research institutes, and corporations. In the past few years, WRC has annually showcased more than 150 international companies, with more than 1000 innovative projects and products related to Robotics. The conference has also attracted more than 200,000 attendees annually.

This year, WRC 2018 will host a new forum for advanced research results related to Robotics and Automation and would like to call-for-paper submissions from experts world-wide to attend this forum:  WRC Symposium on Advanced Robotics and Automation (WRC SARA 2018).  We will collaborate with the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society in reviewing the submitted technical papers. All submitted papers for review should follow strict IEEE conference paper format. All accepted papers that are presented at the Symposium will be submitted for inclusion to IEEE Xplore and EI indexed.

The WRC conference series strives to integrate three key components for successful international conferences that will greatly benefit the attendees -- Forums, Exhibitions and Contests. The WRC conferences seek to enrich the knowledge and experience of students, academics, industrialists, and entrepreneurs in the fields of Robotics, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence.  WRC will showcase technical innovations, cultivate creative talents, and allow international engagements for academics, entrepreneurs and industrialist -- pushing robotics technologies and industries to become a true driver of entrepreneurship and innovation across the global society.
